Natura est Theatrum was a large solo show by Jacqueline de Montaigne held in 2019 in Espaço Exibicionista art gallery in Lisbon.
With the rising epidemic of human-induced climate change, Jacqueline put nature at the centre stage of her exhibition to show case and bring attention to various species in their natural theatrical splendour. The exhibition was a mix of scientific watercolours with larger than life art works which expand into murals and installations. Her trademark blue become secondary to the strong colours used to map global warming.
